61.1% (not a mis-type) U.S. Scientists Identify as Selves as Christian — A study commissioned by the AAAS Dialogue on Science, Ethics and Religion (DoSER) and the Religion and Public Life Program at Rice University presented at the AAAS meeting on 16 February reports rather surprising findings on attitudes of scientists, the public, and religion.  See pp. 9-10 in the study.  See also the AAAS Bulletin and Christianity Today.
